So for those in the stories written in the Bible: talking burning bushes, healing the sick, walking on water, multiplying loaves and fishes…etc.

For those of us today: the rotation of the Earth.

And you wonder why we ask for evidence?

Can you make the earth rotate?

    • morsec0de says:

      Nope.

But the rotation can be explained by completely natural means. The other bits of ‘evidence’ referenced in the Bible can not be explained by natural means.

In the modern world of literacy, audio recording, video recording and mass communication, those events that can’t be explained by natural means suddenly aren’t happening.

That fact is only strange if you believe there is a god that desires us to believe in its existence through evidence.

If a god exists that doesn’t want the world to believe in it (or doesn’t care), or there is no god, then that fact is not strange at all.
