I have about 43 unanswered questions, but Dawkins is a lot smarter than me, so it doesn’t surprise me he only has 4.
1. The Origin of Life.
2. The Origin of Sex.
3. The Origin of Consciousness.
4. The rise of Morality.
Now, as luck would have it, Dawkins 4 questions do not overlap my 43 questions, so I am able to answer his, and who knows, maybe someday we’ll sit down over coffee and he can answer mine.
The answers to Dawkins Questions:
1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1.
2. Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and conceived and bore Cain. Genesis 4:1
3. Upon you I have leaned from before my birth… Psalm 71:6
4. This is an interesting one. I would argue that Morality has not risen, but actually fallen since Genesis 3.
Now I know some of you Atheists reading have answers to some of these questions. Rather than just posting a URL where I can find the answer for myself, please remember I’m somewhat lazy so provide at least a brief synopsis of the argument along with supporting URL rather than throwing out unsubstantiated claims.
Thanks!

Sorry Jedi, those are assertions without tangible evidence. Nice try though for trying to derive answers from mythology.
Dan,
Whether or not the assertions are tangible is debatable. They are answers, nonetheless, and they are backed up by a third party (Bible). What alternative explanations do you offer?
I’m just asking you to be as honest as Dawkins is on this question. Sure, he thinks he has a reasonable answer, but he doesn’t know. You, on the other hand, don’t know either, yet you claim to have an answer.
Just be honest – you think you have an answer but have no evidence to back it up (Just quotes from sources that don’t have evidence either).
I don’t see where Dawkins gives any “reasonable answer” to any of those questions. If you read that article Jedi linked to it shows Dawkins responses to those four questions, none of which are to give answers, they are (in order of the questions)
“This is a complete mystery”
scientists are puzzling over “what sex is all about”
the “biggest puzzle”
The last one he almost gives an answer for, he calls it “mistaken misfiring” I’ll give you that one, I wouldn’t call it reasonable, but it is an answer.
Jedi didn’t come up with the answers on his own, they are from a third party source. People take Dawkins at his word on “scientific evidence” to the supposed proof of evolution yet he has less tangible evidence (what you requested from Jedi’s answers) than there is to show the historical accuracy of the Bible.
Sadie,
No, he doesn’t give a mechanism, because we don’t know one, that’s true. But in case you haven’t noticed… here’s a hint… he thinks it happened naturally, sans a deity. Because it’s true, the Big Bang couldn’t have happened from nothing, right? In some form, it’s likely that matter and energy existed before the big bang too.
Dan, you said “we don’t know one, that’s true”, I’m guessing you were referring to you and Dawkins because as I’m sure you’re aware, those of us who believe the Bible to be truth, believe it to be complete truth, so there are your answers. I would not include myself in that “we don’t know”. I don’t subscribe to the “Big Bang”, not real sure what you were asking there. I am still not seeing the answers you claimed Dawkins had, I give him credit for admitting he doesn’t know though.
…those of us who believe the Bible to be truth, believe it to be complete truth, so there are your answers.
Exactly – and that’s certainty on your part, but not knowledge. You’re certain that the text you hold in esteem is correct, even though that you know that that text is not based on any evidence – it’s based on revelation. And basing your certainty on a text that was itself written based on “gut feeling” isn’t rational.
Dan, it’s interesting that you are so quick to call scripture mythology yet you still haven’t come up with any “tangible evidence” to prove that theory. Wikipedia is a third party, but both of those links you posted yesterday were merely stating that “some people” had questions as to the validity of the Bible, they weren’t proofs that scripture isn’t valid. The first didn’t even have the backing of Wikipedia.
